School Visits
Bring Live Latin Music to Your School
Interactive performances and classroom visits that introduce students to the rhythms, culture, and history of salsa and other Latin styles — live and up close.
Our Mission
Engaging Students Through Latin Music & Culture
Sabrosas Latin Orchestra offers engaging school visits for K–12 students across San Diego County. With our small combo ensemble, we perform live Latin music and explore the rhythms, instruments, and cultural roots of salsa, cha cha, cumbia, merengue, and more.
Whether supporting general music, band, orchestra, jazz, or theory classes, our visits are designed to enhance curriculum, promote cultural appreciation, and inspire a lifelong love of music. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we’re committed to making music education accessible, inclusive, and exciting for all students.
